I became a therapist because I believe in the restorative power of being present to another’s journey- of knowing when and how to adjust one’s pace in order to walk alongside someone in their most vulnerable moments- in their exploration, reflection, and growth of self. I believe that the role I have chosen as a therapist is a privilege and one which carries a collective responsibility to support individual(s) in their reintroduction to the voice and power within.
Over the past 12 years, I have dedicated myself to the profession of social work, attaining both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. I have a passion for ongoing development in therapeutic skills, research, and current practices, which I believe allows me to remain flexible in my therapy approaches, ensuring that I continue to provide services that meet the diverse needs of the various populations with whom I continue to work alongside.
That being said, throughout my career, I have retained a special dedication to the exploration of trauma and its complexities as experienced by individuals and families.
